Jim Ward

Jim Ward has been a career painter since 1968.  Jim works in oil, pastel and bronze with emphasis on cowboy and western wildlife.  Jim is one of the original ten members of the “Texas Cowboy Artist Association”.  He began his career as staff artist for the “Quarter Horse Journal”.   His work has been featured on the covers of numerous publications including   “The Cattleman”, “Cutting Horse Chatter”, “Ranchman”, “Grain Producers News” and “Quarter Horse Journal”.

Jim was honored with a 50 year retrospect show hosted in 2005 by the Panhandle Plains Museum with over 125 of his works exhibited.
