Bev has been creating art since childhood. Her formal studies began at the Cleveland Institute of Art. This was followed by living in Europe for several years studying art at many of the wonderful museums. Other global destinations over the years refined and honed the rich roots of different cultures in Bev’s art. After moving to Colorado she spent ten stimulating years teaching head and figure sculpting at the Art Students League of Denver. Her sculptures have been juried into many national and international competitions, awarded recognition and prizes and sold across the nation and around the world. Bev’s work is characterized by a sense of peace, calm and inner dignity. Public commissions may be seen in Colorado, Georgia, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania. Bev is grateful for the many family and friends who have supported her as a sculptor, mentor, teacher and juror. |
